Northborough – Over 380 runners of all ages participated in today’s Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce 20th annual Applefest 5K Race held at the Marion E. Zeh School. Chris Atunes came in first place overall with a time of 16:33. His wife, Beverly Atunes, won first place overall for the women with a time of 17.49.
Presenting Sponsors for the race were SHARC (Shrewsbury Health and Racquet Club) and the Community Advocate; Supporting Sponsor was Elite Dental Care, and the Finish Line Sponsor was Wegmans.
