Marlborough – Solomon Pond Mall hosted Northborough’s Cub Scout Pack #28 for the Scouts’ annual Pinewood Derby Jan. 26. The event is a fun and competitive tradition that brings Scouts from the community together for a great “day at the races.”
Pinewood Derby cars are small wooden models that Scouts make with help from family and friends. They come out to compete on a track provided by the mall and race their “grand prix” cars, which are powered by gravity.
