REGION – A major snow storm is expected to hit the region overnight tonight, lingering through the day on Friday before tapering off, forecasters say.
Area municipalities and groups have announcing closures and cancellations as a result.

CURBSIDE PICKUP – Delayed
Collections regularly scheduled for Thursday will now occur on Saturday. Collections regularly scheduled for Friday will begin on Saturday as well. It is likely that some streets will not be picked up in their entirety, due to time or capacity, though.
The town noted in a statement on Thursday that any customers who are not collected will be prioritized for pickup on Monday.
