Minuteman Park Dedication
A ceremony to dedicate the new monument on Saturday, April 15, at 10 a.m. The monument honors Westborough residents who responded to the Lexington alarm on April 19, 1775.
Rubber Ducky Race
On Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m., the duckies will take to the Mill Pond Spillway to benefit the programs of the Westborough Lions Club. For updates, visit www.facebook.com/WestboroughLions.
Father Daughter Dance
The 26th annual Marlborough Lions Father Daughter Dance is Friday, April 14, at the Best Western Royal Plaza, 181 Boston Post Road West, from 6 to 8 p.m. for girls ages 3-15 and their fathers, grandfathers, uncles or other special adult male. Tickets $7 in advance, $10 at the door. Advance sales venues: Bouvier Pharmacy, Dairy Queen, Main Street Cafe and Taqueria La Tapatia. Sponsored by the Mitrakas Family and Marlborough Lions Club. Jesus Christ Superstar
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” is coming to the Hanover Theater starting on April 27 and running through April 30. Embroidery Basics for Beginners
Sunday, April 16, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Craftworks, 243 West Main St., Northborough. Patty of The Little Broderie Shop will be coming to Craftworks to host an afternoon workshop for beginners. In this workshop, she will teach you the basics of hand embroidery. You will learn eight basic embroidery stitches while working on a floral stitch sample.
