PROSPECT PARK WORK DAY
Saturday, May 13, 9 a.m. to noon, Prospect Park. Give back to the park and participate in work day tasks like weeding, mulching and trail maintenance. Future work days will be the second Saturday of the month.
GRAFTON GAZEBO ROAD RACE
Saturday, May 13, 10 a.m. This 5K event starts near the police station, 28 Providence Road, and ends at the Grafton Common. Prizes to the top three male and female finishers overall and in 10 age groups. Information: www.grafton-ma.gov/809/Events-Activities
REMEMBERING OUR ANGELS 5K RUN/WALK
The sixth annual Remembering Our Angels 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 57 Fitchburg St. The route will utilize the Assabet River Trail. Amenities will include water stations, restrooms and raffles.
Participants should park at Assabet Valley High School, 215 Fitchburg St. There will be a shuttle bus transporting you back and forth from the Moose Lodge.
Entry fee for the in-person and virtual races will be $30, which includes a T-shirt; for those entering the virtual event and not wishing a T-shirt, the fee will be $25.
After the race, there will be an after party with free food and music.
Proceeds will benefit Team Sharing Inc, a national nonprofit that offers support to families who have lost a child to substance use disorder (SUD). It was founded by Marlborough resident Cheryl Juaire, who lost two sons to SUD: Corey Merrill at age 23 in 2011 and Sean Merrill at 42 in 2021.

ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION FAIR

Saturday, May 13, from 2 to 5 p.m., Prospect Street campus, 34 Prospect St. The SMS community will be celebrating with music, games, food, ribbon cutting, and a time capsule dedication.
MAYOR’S CHARITY BENEFIT
Saturday, May 13, from 7 to 10 p.m., The Burrow, 1000 Green District Blvd., Marlborough. This year’s event to replenish the Mayor’s Charity Relief Fund will feature hors d’oeuvres from the finest area restaurants, wine tasting, entertainment, a silent auction, golf simulator games and a cash bar.
Keeping to tradition, Mayor Arthur Vigeant will also take this opportunity to honor the Marlborough Humanitarian of the Year during the night’s festivities. Individual tickets can be purchased for $50 or a bundle of 10 can be purchased for $500. The committee is seeking sponsorships. Donations are greatly appreciated by those unable to attend the event.

CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
Sunday, May 21, Westborough Knights of Columbus Council 85, 17 Willow St. Registration starts at 12:30 p.m., with the tournament starting at 1:15 p.m. There will be an adult bracket as well as a child/adult bracket. Food, water and a cash bar will be provided. Admission: $15 for adults, $10 for children age 10 and younger. Register by May 15.
