Northborough – Veterans from American Legion Vincent F. Picard Post 234 set up a table outside Lowe’s Variety and Meat Market July 3 to offer shoppers small American flags and handmade poppy flowers. The flags had previously been on the graves of US veterans. The American Legion members collected the flags, cleaned them and folded them the same as the way a full-sized flag would be folded.
