Northborough – Families got a head start on Halloween by attending the free Truck or Treat held Oct. 20 in the parking lot of the open-air shopping center Northborough Crossing. Treats were also distributed at some of the center’s stores.
Costumed kids were treated to a bag to fill with goodies. DJ Peter provided music while children got behind the wheel of service vehicles and trucks. The town of Northborough supplied vehicles from the fire, police and public works departments. Also displayed were trucks from local businesses.
Mingling among the families were special guests Princess Anna and Queen Elsa from the animated film “Frozen,” along with superheroes Batman and Super Woman. Kids could also play several games including cornhole and Connect Four. A mobile video game theater was also available.
