Northborough – Northborough Recreation has organized several day trips from April to August.
On Saturday, April 6, travel south to Foxwoods Resort Casino and Captain Jack’s restaurant in Wakefield for a lobster bake. The trip is for adults over 21 only. The bus departs at 9 a.m. from the Robert E. Melican Middle School, 145 Lincoln St., and return at approximately 7:30 p.m. The cost is $89 per person.
Voyage to Nantucket via high-speed ferry Saturday, July 13. Once on Nantucket Island, you have time to take in the exciting shops and explore the art galleries. Experience its colonial American architecture and atmosphere, along with its wide variety of activities and miles of sandy beaches. There are also great restaurants, shops, as well as the Old Historic Town, whaling museums and more. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for very young children due to the length of travel. The bus departs at 7 a.m. from Melican Middle School and returns around 7:30 p.m. The cost is $109 per person.

A Lake Winnipesaukee cruise will set sail Saturday, Aug. 24. Sailing from Weirs Beach, you’ll delight in the beautiful vistas of the White Mountains from the decks of the 230-foot M/S Mount Washington as you cruise the famous lake. The cruise includes a delicious, full course buffet luncheon. After your delightful cruise, you’ll visit the Moulton Farm Market, where farm-fresh vegetables, cakes, pies, and more are available for purchase. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for very young children due to the length of travel.
